Mountain Falls Millwork is a locally owned family business. The owner, Randy Rickard, is originally from the Shenandoah Valley. He has been crafting furnishings and unique custom building projects since 1983. He started the business with his wife, Harriet, in 1994.

In addition to our local roots, what sets Mountain Falls apart is that we also source as much as possible from our regional area. We acquire lumber from community sawmills and logs from nearby urban tree removals or neighboring farms which saves this useful commodity from going to the landfill or being cut up for firewood. Each tree gives us an incredibly unique opportunity to create a custom project, even sourcing a tree or wood from someone’s own property. Our millwork expertise highlights the unique grains and textures that many other companies are not able to harvest and use.
